Gathering Around the Cauldron
The Gathering Around the Cauldron meetups are semi-regular gatherings offer the opportunity for the genuine seeker, novice or solitary to gain practical experience when it comes to working magic and ritual through the lens of contemporary witchcraft.
Each gathering is unique and may include a ritual, meditation or some other practice relating to that particular topic. Any ritual being offered will be within the framework found within contemporary witchcraft and as such, attendees will be required to participate. If you are new to ritual structure, verbal instructions will be provided to ensure that everyone is able to benefit from the group experience.
Please note that you do not have be align yourself with contemporary witchcraft to attend the Gathering Around the Cauldron meetups ~ these are open to everyone.

Into the Underworld ~ A Journey of the Soul
Venue: Mystical Soul Academy
Throughout myth we read about the Underworld journeys. In Homer's Odyssey, Odysseus travels to the land of the dead to speak with a blind prophet. Besotted Orpheus bravely journeys to the underworld to bring back his lost love, Eurydice.
From ancient Egypt, the dead is recorded as needing to undertake the dangerous journey to reach the Hall of Judgment where their heart will be weighed on the sacred scales of Ma'at before the jackal-headed god, Anubis.
The ruler of Norse Helheim, the realm of the dead, is Hel. She is the daughter of the trickster god Loki and is often depicted as half-living flesh and half-decaying corpse.
In this workshop, step into the realm of the Underworld, through the exploration of the sacred stories of the chthonic deities and the gifts they can bestow upon us from the darkness.
You will also have the opportunity to connect with them through meditation.
