WHAT THE TEMPLE OF THE DARK MOON LOOKS FOR IN NEW APPLICANTS As mentioned elsewhere on this site, the Temple of the Dark Moon is primarily a working coven that operates on a three tiered structure consisting of both an "Inner" as well as an "Outer" court. When vacancies occur within either of these Courts, it is important that only "suitable" people join us. By this we mean those who are dedicated to the Craft, and are able to adhere to our structure as well as aligning themselves with the guiding ethics and philosophies that we follow.
There are three main influences upon which the Temple of the Dark Moon aligns itself with - these are progressive Alexandrian-based Wicca, traditional Craft and ceremonial magick. While it is beneficial for interested applicant into either Court already have undertaken at least some training with the Temple, or at least attended some of our Full Moon gatherings, all genuine applications are considered.
As the path which the Temple of the Dark Moon follows may not necessarily be suitable for every interested person, we strongly recommend that any prospective applicant read the links provided to the left about us and how we operate. As mentioned elsewhere on this site, our preference is on quality as opposed to quantity.
As knowledge is important, the training within the Outer Court focuses around six indepth lectures, each consisting of material which the student is expected to prepare assignments on that are to meet a certain standard.
